Katerina Skassi - Artist/Designer
I come from an Athenian family of artists and architects who pushed me creatively throughout my life. As a teenager, I attended LaGuardia High School in New York where I practiced drawing, painting and ceramics three hours a day. After that, I studied Fine Arts at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. There I continued painting and sculpture but also learned screen-printing, digital video and film photography. My work has been in several group shows in New York, Los Angeles and Mykonos. Right now, I am currently working for the Mykonos Biennale as a curator and social media coordinator. I also run a clothing brand called Abducted Clothing, consisting of t-shirts, accessories and prints with my drawings.
